Mariel Zagunis won Olympic Saber Gold in both 2004 and 2008. FIERCE. Then she sweetly shed a single tear during the medal ceremony. It rolled down as she smiled and then sang the last lines of our National Anthem. She is both huggable and fierce.

Update: Still looking for apparently banned video of medal ceremony. Reuters has photos but has declared them not for public use. Everything is embargoed. Luckily, Nellya Fencers, of Atlanta, Georgia, makes available the beautiful photo below of U.S. Fencers after they swept all three medals in Beijing.
