I'm searching the web right now to see if I can find anyone that can confirm that the actor playing Abe Lincoln is the Geico Caveman. Looks just like him, exact expressions on his face, I think it's awesome! :) ~ Rick
This is a good catch by you. I KNEW I had seen that Abe Lincoln actor before. I just couldn't place where.
I caught it too and am searching the web to see if anyone commented on it as well.
He reminds me of Vincent D'Onofrio http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000352/ from "Law & Order: Criminal Intent".

I know who it is, and it isn't the Caveman. An online friend of mine plays Abe Lincoln in the Geico commercials. His name is Timothy Simons. Google "timothy simons geico" or see if you recognize him here: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/8dd4c8ad1a/the-flyer-guy
He said it took 5 hours to put on the abe makeup.
It appears the last commenter is correct. University of Maine's Facebook page boasts that UMaine graduate Tim Simons plays Abe Lincoln in the Geico commercial.

I'm almost positive that it's Paul Schneider. He caught my eye playing William Henry Harrison in Derek Waters' "Drunk History." His mannerisms very much remind me of Schneider's acting style.
Abe is Tim Simons, lives in LA.
This is Tim Simons. Those that posted this are correct. A friend of my brothers. Also see him in a Best Buy commercial and a recent Bank of America ATM deposit commercial.
