Scarlett Tanager

I've never wanted to be a birder, ever, except, just for a moment, when reading this recollection about Scarlett Tanagers.  And now the moment is gone, and we ought know who we are, and I are not a birder.  Yet, the fiery image of the Scarlett Tanager remains imprinted upon my brain.
