Just as we long ago saw The National Organization for Women was not for women so much as they were for electing Democrats, now we see Human Rights Watch is not for human rights so much as they are for electing Democrats.

HRW before Barack:

The US government should:

permanently discontinue the CIA's rendition program;

Disclose the identities, fate, and current whereabouts of all persons detained by the CIA or rendered to foreign custody by the CIA since 2001

HRW in the age of Barack:

"Under limited circumstances, there is a legitimate place" for renditions, said Tom Malinowski, the Washington advocacy director for Human Rights Watch.
