Hanging with my son Jake. He's a music composition major. Music composition students like to make each other laugh.
Consider their glee at Haydn's use of an opening phrase with perfect authentic cadence, followed by switching to v-vi cadence, only to then END the piece with a fragment of the perfect authentic cadence which opened it: leaving the audience mystified and expecting the piece to continue - except it's OVER - so the audience is looking at each other going "What the ...?! Do we clap now?"
Heh. Those wacky music comp students have a million of 'em.
